Ingredients
- 1 pita (whole wheat, cut around the sides, into flats)
- 2 tablespoon tomato sauce (low-sodium)
- 1 slice mozzarella cheese (part-skim)
- 0.25 cup bell pepper (green and red, sliced)
- 0.25 cup mushrooms (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon broccoli (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon red onion (chopped)
- 0.25 cup spinach (shredded)
Instructions
- Place one pita round on a plate.
- Spread 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce on pizza.
- Sprinkle various chopped vegetable over sauce.
- Layer one slice of cheese on top of sauce.
- Cover with the other half of pita round.
- Microwave 35 to 45 seconds, or until cheese melts.
- Slice in half, let cool, and enjoy!
