Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (lean)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 yellow onion (medium, diced)
- 2 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 24 ounce riced cauliflower (from bags)
- 0.25 cup fresh dill (chopped)
- 0.25 cup beef broth (Whole30 compliant)
- 1 English cucumber (sliced)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced yellow onion to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the minced garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- Add the riced cauliflower and beef broth to the skillet. Stir well, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cauliflower is tender. Stir in the fresh dill.
- Serve the Turkish ground beef skillet hot with sliced English cucumber on the side.
Notes
Using pre-riced cauliflower significantly reduces preparation time. Look for Whole30 compliant beef broth.
