Ingredients
- 0.75 pound ground turkey (93/7 lean)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 bell pepper (large, sliced)
- 1 zucchini (medium, spiralized or cut into thin strips)
- 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in sliced bell pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, and black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until bell peppers start to soften.
- Add zucchini noodles to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, tossing gently, until the noodles are just tender-crisp.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
If using pre-made zucchini noodles, you may only need to cook them for 1-2 minutes to prevent them from becoming watery.
