Ingredients
- 0.25 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce (reduced sodium)
- 1 pound ground turkey (lean)
- 1 cup water chestnuts (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 6 lettuce leaves
Instructions
- Mix the water, cornstarch, and teriyaki sauce in a bowl.
- Add the ground turkey and chopped water chestnuts to the teriyaki sauce mixture.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet or heavy saucepan. Add the meat and sauce mixture; stir until cooked through.
- Serve the cooked mixture in a lettuce leaf.
Notes
Ground or thinly sliced beef or pork can be substituted for turkey.
