Ingredients
- 5 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon ketchup
- 2 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon molasses
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 teaspoon white vinegar
- 0.75 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 0.125 teaspoon black pepper (ground)
- 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.125 teaspoon ginger (grated)
- 2 clove garlic (minced)
- 8 piece chicken (skinless (4 breasts, 4 drumsticks))
Instructions
- Combine tomato paste, ketchup, honey, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, white vinegar, cayenne pepper, ground black pepper, onion powder, grated ginger, and minced garlic in a saucepan. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Place chicken on a large platter and brush it with half the sauce mixture. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Place chicken on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, and broil for 10 minutes on each side to seal in juices.
- Remove from oven and brush chicken pieces with remaining sauce. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 °F for 30 minutes.
