Ingredients
- 1.5 pound ground turkey (93% lean)
- 0.5 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg (large)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 1.5 tablespoon sriracha
- 5 hamburger buns
- 20 ounce frozen sweet potato fries
- 5 ounce mixed greens (bagged)
- 2 tablespoon vinaigrette dressing
- 0.5 cup lettuce (shredded)
- 1 tomato (sliced)
- 0.5 cup pickle slices (sliced)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F for the sweet potato fries according to package instructions. Spread the 20 ounce bag frozen sweet potato fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until crispy, flipping halfway through.
- In a large bowl, combine the 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey, 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs, 1 large egg, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Mix gently until just combined (do not overmix). Form into 5 equal patties.
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook turkey patties for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
- While burgers cook, prepare the spicy mayo: in a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1 1/2 tablespoons sriracha. Mix well.
- Toast the 5 hamburger buns, if desired. In a separate bowl, toss the 5 ounce bag mixed greens with 2 tablespoons vinaigrette dressing.
- Serve the turkey burgers on buns, topped with spicy mayo and your preferred burger fixings (lettuce, tomato, pickle slices), alongside the sweet potato fries and dressed mixed greens.
Notes
Adjust the amount of sriracha in the mayo to achieve your desired spice level. For a richer flavor, you can add a tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese to the burger mixture.
