Ingredients
- 0.5 pound ground turkey (85% lean)
- 1 onion (medium, chopped)
- 2 clove garlic cloves (minced)
- 8 ounce tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 8 ounce tube pasta (uncooked)
- 2 cup vegetables (fresh or frozen)
Instructions
- Brown the ground meat, onion, and garlic in a large skillet or heavy saucepan.
- Drain off any grease.
- Add the tomato sauce, water, and uncooked pasta.
- Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the fresh or frozen vegetables.
- Stir and continue cooking until the pasta and vegetables are tender, about 10 more minutes.
