  1. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add lean ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add chopped yellow onion, minced garlic, chopped red bell pepper, and chopped green bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  3. Stir in rinsed and drained black beans, no-salt-added crushed tomatoes, chili powder, ground cumin, and smoked paprika. Pour in no-salt-added beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes, allowing flavors to meld. Stir occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in fresh cilantro.
  6. Serve the Sizzling Mexican Skillet over cooked brown rice.
