Ingredients
- 4 ounce shrimp (peeled, deveined)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 cup green beans (trimmed)
- 0.5 lemon (juiced)
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
- While shrimp cooks, steam or blanch the green beans until tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes. This can be done in a microwave or a small pot of boiling water.
- Once shrimp is cooked, remove from heat. Squeeze 1/2 lemon juice over the shrimp and season with 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Toss gently.
- Serve the seared garlic shrimp alongside the green beans.
