  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
  3. While shrimp cooks, steam or blanch the green beans until tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes. This can be done in a microwave or a small pot of boiling water.
  4. Once shrimp is cooked, remove from heat. Squeeze 1/2 lemon juice over the shrimp and season with 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Toss gently.
  5. Serve the seared garlic shrimp alongside the green beans.
