  1. Prepare the instant ramen noodles according to package directions, then drain and set aside. Alternatively, use pre-cooked noodles if available for extra speed.
  2. While noodles cook, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the ground pork and diced yellow onion. Cook, breaking up the pork, until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and grated fresh ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the hoisin sauce, chicken broth, and sesame oil. Bring the sauce to a simmer.
  4. Add the frozen shelled edamame to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until heated through. Stir in the cooked ramen noodles until they are well coated with the sauce and pork mixture.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Adjust the amount of hoisin sauce to your preference. A splash of sriracha can be added for extra heat.
