  1. In a medium bowl, combine drained and flaked canned salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped fresh parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add salmon patties and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
  3. While burgers cook, prepare the salad: In a separate bowl, toss mixed greens with balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
  4. Serve salmon burgers on whole wheat buns with the green salad on the side.

Notes
