Ingredients
- 3 red chiles (dried)
- 1 cup water
- 2 pound pork top loin (cut into pieces)
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Wash red chiles, removing stems and seeds.
- Place red chiles in a blender with 1 cup water and blend into a paste.
- Brown pork top loin lightly in a non-stick skillet.
- Add the chili paste to the skillet with the pork and mix well, adding more water if the mixture is too thick.
- Add oregano and garlic powder to the skillet. Season with salt if desired.
- Cover and simmer slowly for one hour.
