- 2 pound smoked kielbasa (sliced 1/2-inch thick)
- 1 head green cabbage (large, shredded)
- 2 yellow onions (medium, thinly sliced)
- 4 tablespoon butter
- 16 ounce wide egg noodles
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.25 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Boil 16 ounces wide egg noodles in a large pot of salted water according to package directions for 8 minutes, then drain.
- Melt 4 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 pounds sliced smoked kielbasa and 2 sliced yellow onions, cooking for 5 minutes until browned.
- Stir 1 shredded green cabbage, 1 teaspoon caraway seeds, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper into the skillet. Cook for 6 minutes until cabbage is wilted and tender.
- Fold the drained egg noodles into the skillet with the sausage and cabbage until evenly combined. Garnish with 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley and serve.
