- 1 pound ground beef (90% lean)
- 1 onion (medium, chopped)
- 3.5 cup water
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 ounces, low-sodium)
- 0.5 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoon oregano (dried)
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon rosemary
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 16 ounce spaghetti noodles (broken)
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (shredded)
Instructions
- Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat (300 degrees F in an electric skillet).
- Drain fat.
- Stir in water, tomato sauce, sugar, oregano, garlic powder, rosemary, and black pepper; bring to a boil.
- Add spaghetti noodles, cover pan, and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking.
