Ingredients

- 1 package brown rice pouch (pre-cooked)
- 1.5 cup broccoli florets (fresh)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (reduced-sodium)

- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 0.25 cup kimchi (mild, chopped)
Instructions
- Place fresh broccoli florets in a microwave-safe bowl with 2 tablespoons of water, cover, and microwave on high for 3 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Heat a medium non-stick skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, breaking into crumbles, until browned and cooked through to 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Stir soy sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar into the skillet with the cooked beef and simmer for 1 minute until glazed.
- Heat the pre-cooked brown rice pouch in the microwave according to package directions (about 90 seconds).
- Layer the warm brown rice in a bowl, top with the glazed ground beef, steamed broccoli florets, and mild kimchi, then serve immediately.
Notes
