Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the gluten-free tamari, beef broth, toasted sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and Korean red chili flakes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the lean ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook for 5 to 6 minutes until browned and no pink remains, reaching 160°F. Drain any excess fat if needed.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef, then add the fresh broccoli florets. Cover the skillet with a lid and let steam over medium heat for 4 minutes until the broccoli is crisp-tender.
  4. Place the riced cauliflower in a covered microwave-safe dish with 1/4 teaspoon of the salt, cooking on high for 4 minutes until tender and hot.
  5. Season the beef and broccoli with the remaining 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Uncover and toss for 1 minute to coat thoroughly in the glossy pan juices.
  6. Serve the saucy beef and broccoli over warm cauliflower rice, garnished with toasted sesame seeds.

Notes

A quick lid-steam cooks the broccoli directly in the flavorful sauce without extra pans.
