Ingredients
- 6 ounce boneless pork chop
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup green beans (trimmed)
Instructions
- Pat the boneless pork chop dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, combine dried oregano, dried thyme, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Press the herb mixture onto both sides of the pork chop to create a crust.
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chop and sear for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 145°F).
- While the pork chop is cooking, steam or boil the green beans until tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes.
- Serve the herb-crusted pork chop immediately with the steamed green beans.
