Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
- 0.5 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup instant mashed potato flakes
- 2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 10 ounce frozen peas
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup milk, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Form into 8 small patties.
- Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey patties and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F).
- While the patties cook, bring 2 cups water to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in 1/4 cup milk, 1 tablespoon butter, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Add the instant mashed potato flakes and stir until smooth and fluffy.
- In another small saucepan, bring a small amount of water to a boil. Add the frozen peas and cook for 3-5 minutes, until tender. Drain well.
- Serve the golden turkey patties with the mashed potatoes and steamed peas.
