Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the cubed extra-firm tofu and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and crispy on all sides. Remove tofu from skillet and set aside.
  2. While tofu cooks, steam the chopped broccoli florets for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp. You can steam in the microwave or a steamer basket.
  3. In the same skillet, add the grated fresh ginger and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the coconut aminos, toasted sesame oil, and nutritional yeast, mixing well to combine. Return the cooked tofu to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing sauce to thicken slightly.
  5. Prepare the cauliflower rice according to package directions, typically microwaving or sautéing for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Serve the golden sesame tofu over cauliflower rice with the steamed broccoli on the side. Garnish with hemp seeds, if desired.

Notes

Ensure your extra-firm tofu is well-pressed to achieve the best crispy texture. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
