Ingredients
- 1 pound sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper (ground)
- 1 package frozen roasted potatoes or potato wedges
- 1 package Caesar salad kit
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit according to the package directions for the frozen roasted potatoes. Spread the 20-ounce bag of frozen potatoes on a baking sheet and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy and heated through.
- While potatoes are cooking, pat the 1 pound of sirloin steak bites dry with paper towels. In a medium bowl, toss the steak with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper until evenly coated.
- Heat a large skillet (cast iron works great) over medium-high heat until very hot, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the seasoned steak bites to the hot skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer to your desired doneness. Avoid overcrowding the pan; cook in batches if necessary.
- Prepare the 10-ounce bag Caesar salad kit according to package instructions.
- Serve the garlic herb steak bites immediately with the crispy roasted potatoes and fresh Caesar salad.
Notes
Adjust the cooking time for the steak bites based on your preference for doneness.
