Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin (thinly sliced)
- 0.25 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 8 ounce ramen noodles or spaghetti
- 5 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
- 4 cup broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef sirloin with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Toss to coat and set aside to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Cook ramen noodles or spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet. Add the minced garlic and grated fresh ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes, until tender-crisp. You can add a tablespoon or two of water to help steam the broccoli if needed.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the broccoli. Add the cooked noodles, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, the remaining 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Serve the Savory Garlic Beef Noodles immediately.
Notes
To make slicing the beef easier, freeze it for 20-30 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain. Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to control spice level.
