Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (lean (90%))
- 1 onion (large, chopped)
- 0.25 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 0.5 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoon vinegar
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 can kidney beans (low-sodium, 15.5 ounce)
- 1 can pork and beans (15 ounce)
- 2 can great northern beans (low-sodium, 15.5 ounce)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F. Cook ground beef and onions.
- Drain fat.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix.
- Place in casserole dish.
- Bake in the oven at 350 °F for 30 minutes.
Notes
For convenience this recipe includes canned beans. To lower the sodium, feel free to use dried beans that have been prepared according to the package directions.
