Fiery Pickled Turkey & Cabbage

A zesty and spicy stir-fry featuring lean ground turkey, crunchy cabbage, and a flavorful kick from pickled jalapeños and sriracha, finished with a touch of rice vinegar.

  1. Heat avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook for 5 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add thinly sliced green cabbage to the skillet and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, until cabbage is tender-crisp. Add sliced pickled jalapeños.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together low sodium soy sauce, Sriracha, rice vinegar, and onion powder.
  4. Pour the sauce over the turkey and vegetables. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce coats everything. Season with black pepper.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

If you prefer less heat, reduce the amount of Sriracha or jalapeños. Fresh ginger (not garlic!) can be added to the sauce for an extra flavor boost if desired.
