Ingredients
- 4 ounce chicken breast (boneless, skinless, cut into small pieces)
- 0.5 teaspoon taco seasoning
- 0.5 cup salsa (prepared)
- 2 flour tortillas (small)
- 0.25 cup shredded lettuce (shredded)
- 2 tablespoon sour cream (light)
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Season the 4 ounces small pieces of chicken breast with 1/2 teaspoon taco seasoning and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
- Heat a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, until no longer pink and cooked through.
- Stir in the 1/2 cup prepared salsa and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
- While the chicken simmers, warm the 2 small flour tortillas according to package directions (microwave or dry skillet).
- Serve the chicken and salsa mixture in the warm tortillas, topped with 1/4 cup shredded lettuce and 2 tablespoons light sour cream.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a dash of hot sauce to your tacos.
