Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1.5 pound chicken breast (boneless, skinless, cut into 1-inch pieces)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 15 ounce Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 garlic bread (store-bought)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the 1 pound spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain well.
- While the pasta cooks, season the 1 1/2 pounds chicken breast pieces with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
- Heat the 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked through and lightly browned. Remove from heat.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the cooked chicken. Pour in the 1 jar Alfredo sauce and stir to combine. Gently fold in the 1 cup fresh spinach until it wilts, about 1-2 minutes.
- While assembling the pasta, bake the 1 loaf store-bought garlic bread according to package directions, usually 5-8 minutes.
- Serve the comforting chicken Alfredo immediately with slices of garlic bread.
Notes
For added flavor, a sprinkle of freshly grated Parmesan cheese can be added before serving. Leftovers can be reheated on the stovetop with a splash of milk or broth to loosen the sauce.
