Ingredients
- 2 package Impossible Steak Bites
- 1 pound broccoli florets (fresh)
- 2 poblano peppers (medium, sliced into strips)
- 1 red onion (medium, sliced)
- 1.5 tablespoon olive oil (extra virgin)
- 0.25 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 tablespoon vegetarian Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper (ground)
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a heavy cast iron skillet over high heat. Add Impossible Steak Bites, cooking for 5-6 minutes until seared with a crisp crust, then transfer to a plate.
- Add remaining 1/2 tablespoon olive oil, sliced red onion, and poblano pepper to the hot skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add broccoli florets along with 2 tablespoons of water, cover skillet, and steam for 3-4 minutes until broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
- Return steak bites to skillet. Season with vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper, stirring well for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, top with grated parmesan cheese, and serve immediately.
