  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan.
  2. Add onion and cook in oil until tender.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients: chicken broth, chicken, canned tomatoes, canned lima beans, and canned whole kernel corn.
  4. Bring to a simmer for 30 minutes at medium-low.
