Broccoli Alfredo

This dish features whole wheat pasta and reduced fat Parmesan cheese.

  1. Place cooked broccoli and pasta in a bowl.
  2. Heat low-fat milk over medium heat and then add dried basil and garlic powder.
  3. When hot, add Parmesan cheese.
  4. Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of low-fat milk and add to hot mixture.
  5. Heat until thickened.
  6. Pour mixture over pasta and broccoli.
  7. Serve.
