Ingredients
- 4 cup broccoli (cooked)
- 4 cup whole wheat pasta (cooked)
- 2.125 cup low-fat milk (divided)
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (reduced-fat)
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Place cooked broccoli and pasta in a bowl.
- Heat low-fat milk over medium heat and then add dried basil and garlic powder.
- When hot, add Parmesan cheese.
- Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of low-fat milk and add to hot mixture.
- Heat until thickened.
- Pour mixture over pasta and broccoli.
- Serve.
