Ingredients
- 8 ounce ground turkey (cooked)
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 1 celery stalk (finely chopped)
- 0.25 red onion (medium, finely minced)
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 0.125 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 ounce bacon (cooked until crisp and crumbled)
- 4 flour tortillas (large)
- 2 cup romaine lettuce (shredded)
- 1 Roma tomato (large, thinly sliced)
Instructions
- Cook the ground turkey according to package directions, if not already cooked. Let cool slightly. If bacon is not pre-cooked, cook 4 ounces bacon until crisp and crumble. You can do this simultaneously to save time. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cooked ground turkey, mayonnaise, finely chopped celery stalk, finely minced red onion, dried dill, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Lay out the large flour tortillas or wraps. Evenly spread the turkey salad mixture down the center of each tortilla.
- Top the turkey salad with shredded romaine lettuce, thinly sliced Roma tomato, and crumbled cooked bacon.
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll up tightly to create a wrap. Cut in half if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
If preparing for meal prep, keep the turkey salad separate from the other wrap ingredients and assemble just before eating to prevent sogginess. Cook the bacon ahead of time to make this recipe even quicker.
