  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the chopped yellow onion and minced garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until the onion softens.
  3. Season the beef and vegetables with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
  4. Add the frozen green beans, beef broth, and soy sauce to the skillet. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes, until the green beans are tender-crisp.
  5. While the beef mixture is simmering, cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Drain well.
  6. Prepare the garlic bread according to package directions.
  7. Serve the hearty beef and green bean mixture over the cooked egg noodles, with garlic bread on the side.

Notes
