Ingredients
- 12 ounce rotini pasta
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 lean)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 clove garlic (minced)
- 24 ounce marinara sauce
- 0.5 cup beef broth
- 5 ounce fresh spinach
- 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 slice garlic bread
Instructions
- Cook the rotini pasta according to package directions in salted water. Drain well and set aside.
- While pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the minced garlic and dried oregano, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the marinara sauce and beef broth. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low and stir in the fresh spinach. Cook until the spinach wilts, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir the drained pasta into the sauce with the black pepper. Taste and season with additional salt, if needed.
- Prepare the garlic bread according to package directions, while the pasta sauce is simmering.
- Serve the Beef and Spinach Pasta immediately with the garlic bread.
