Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil for the spaghetti.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the 1 pound ground beef and 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion over medium-high heat. Break up the beef with a spoon. Drain any excess fat. Season with 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
  3. Add the 24 ounce jar marinara sauce to the skillet with the beef and onion. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and let it gently simmer while you cook the pasta.
  4. Once the water is boiling, add the 8 ounces spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente (usually 8-10 minutes).
  5. While pasta cooks, prepare the 5 ounce bag Caesar salad kit according to package directions. Cook the 3 slices store-bought garlic bread according to package directions (typically oven or toaster oven).
  6. Drain the cooked spaghetti and add it directly to the skillet with the beef marinara sauce. Toss to coat well.
  7. Serve the Beef and Marinara Pasta immediately with the Caesar salad and garlic bread.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
