Ingredients
- 1.5 pound chicken thighs (boneless, skinless)
- 1 cup cornflakes cereal (ready-to-eat)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
- 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Remove skin and bone; cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
- Place cornflakes cereal in plastic bag and crush by using a rolling pin.
- Add paprika, Italian herb seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder to crushed cornflakes cereal.
- Close bag tightly and shake until blended.
- Add a few chicken thighs pieces at a time to crumb mixture.
- Shake to coat evenly.
- Conventional Method: Preheat oven to 400 °F. Lightly grease a cooking sheet.
- Place chicken thighs pieces on cooking sheet so they are not touching.
- Bake until golden brown, about 12 to 14 minutes.
- Microwave Method: Lightly grease an 8x12 inch baking dish.
- Place chicken thighs pieces on baking dish so they are not touching.
- Cover with waxed paper and cook on high.
- Rotate chicken thighs every 2 to 3 minutes.
- Cook until tender, about 6 to 8 minutes.
